Cefuroxime axetil Broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic resistant to beta-lactamase. It has been proposed for infections with gram-negative and gram-positive organisms, gonorrhea, and haemophilus.

Clavulanic acid is a suicide inhibitor of bacterial beta-lactamase enzymes from Streptomyces clavuligerus. Side Effects
