Product Introduction CEFULET-500

• Cefuroxime axetil Broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic resistant to beta-lactamase. It has been proposed for infections with gram-negative and gram-positive organisms, gonorrhea, and haemophilus.
• Major and minor side effects for cefuroxime are Diarrhea, Chills, Headache, Itching of vagina or genital area, Chest pain, Difficult or painful urination, Shortness of breath, Change in taste, Abdominal pain & Acid or sour stomach. Contact your doctor immediately if any of these symptoms are experienced on a regular basis.

Indication of CEFULET-500

• Cefuroxime, a cephalosporin antibiotic that acts by stopping the growth of the disease causing bacteria.
• It is indicated for respiratory tract infections, ear nose & throat infections, skin and skin structure infections, urinary tract infections & intra-abdominal infections.
  Whenever you take more than one medicine, or mix it with certain foods or beverages, you?re at risk of a drug interaction.
• Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that your doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions.
• Cefuroxime may intract with the following drugs and products: Amikacin, Chloramphenicol, Ethinyl Estradiol, Cholera Vaccine, Furosemide

Side Effects

• The most common adverse reactions with oral Cefuroxime are headache, dizziness, gastrointestinal disturbances and transient rise in liver enzymes.
