Ceftriaxone+ Sulbactum

A broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic with a very long half-life and high penetrability to meninges, eyes and inner ears.Sulbactam is a ?-lactamase inhibitor given in combination with ?-lactam antibiotics to inhibit ?-lactamase, an enzyme produced by bacteria that destroys antibiotic activity.

Indication of ROXONE-750

Ceftriaxone, a third generation cephalosporin that acts via breaking the cell wall of the bacteria. It is prescribed as a first line of defense in majority of the cases requiring injections.

Side Effects

The main side effects of combination are pain, indurations and tenderness at the site of injection; others are rash, disturbances in white blood cell count, diarrhea & liver enzyme elevations.
