Amoxycillin 500mg +
Clavulanic Acid 125mg
Benefit of MOXROOT CV 625
Product Introduction MOXROOT-625
A broad-spectrum semisynthetic antibiotic similar to ampicillin except that its resistance to gastric acid permits higher serum levels with oral administration. Amoxicillin is commonly prescribed with clauvanic acid (a beta lactamase inhibitor) as it is susceptible to beta-lacatamase degradation.
Clavulanate potassium is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that helps prevent certain bacteria from becoming resistant to amoxicillin.
Clavulanic acid and its salts and esters. The acid is a suicide inhibitor of bacterial beta-lactamase enzymes from Streptomyces clavuligerus. Administered alone, it has only weak antibacterial activity against most organisms, but given in combination with beta-lactam antibiotics prevents antibiotic inactivation by microbial lactamase.
Indication of MOXROOT-625
Amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium is a combination medicine used to treat many different infections caused by bacteria, such as sinusitis, pneumonia, ear infections, bronchitis, urinary tract infections, and infections of the skin.
For the treatment of infections of the ear, nose, and throat, the genitourinary tract, the skin and skin structure, and the lower respiratory tract due to susceptible (only b-lactamase-negative) strains of Streptococcus spp.
For use with Amoxicillin, clavulanic acid is suitable for the treatment of infections with Staph. aureus and Bacteroides fragilis, or with beta-lactamase producing H. influenzae and E. coli.
Side Effects
The main side effects of this combination are Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting & Abdominal pain. Otherwise it is well tolerated.

MOXROOT CV 625 is a robust combination of Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid, designed to offer an effective solution for treating various bacterial infections. The formulation bears similarities to ampicillin but has enhanced resistance to gastric acid, thus allowing for greater serum levels upon oral administration. This characteristic makes it particularly effective in treating infections that are otherwise challenging due to the increased resilience of certain bacterial strains.
This medication is often prescribed when a doctor suspects that common antibiotics may not be effective due to the presence of beta-lactamase-producing bacteria. By inhibiting the activity of these harmful enzymes, MOXROOT CV 625 is instrumental in ensuring that the antibiotic remains potent and effective, targeting infections more successfully. Thus, patients benefit not just from the antibiotic itself, but also from the synergistic effect that comes from its combination with a beta-lactamase inhibitor.
MOXROOT CV 625 is indicated for a wide range of infections caused by susceptible bacteria, such as sinusitis, pneumonia, and urinary tract infections. This medication is particularly effective against infections related to the ear, nose, throat, and lower respiratory tract, providing quick relief to patients experiencing severe symptoms. Its broad-spectrum efficacy extends to skin and skin structure infections, making it a versatile option in the antibiotic arsenal.
While MOXROOT CV 625 is effective in combatting bacterial infections, it may also come with a few side effects that patients should be aware of. Common side effects include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain, all of which stem from the antibiotic's impact on the gut flora. While these effects can be uncomfortable, they are often temporary and tend to resolve as the body adjusts to the medication.
