Product Introduction ROXCIN-OZ

• Ofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone that acts by stopping the multiplication of the disease causing bacteria. It is prescribed for skin & soft tissue infections, respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, abdominal infections & reproductive system infections.
• Ornidazole has been used in trials studying the prevention of Elective Colorectal Surgery. Ornidazole, a nitroimidazole derivative that acts synergistically to kill bacteria and protozoa both kind of pathogens.

Indication of ROXCIN-O

• Ofloxacin is prescribed for skin & soft tissue infections, respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, abdominal infections & reproductive system infections. Ofloxacin & Ornidazole prescribed in cases of gastro-intestinal infections, chest infections, gynaecological infections, dental infections, skin ulcers & in various other bacterial and protozoal infections.

Side Effects

• The main side effects of this combination are Insomnia, Fungal infection, , Dizziness, Headache, Eye irritation, Vertigo, Dry mouth, Diarrhoea, Nausea, Vomiting, abnormal liver function test, loss of appetite, Pruritis & Rashes.
